Lucas Nash Everett

Certified Court translator and interpreter authorized by the Judiciary Council of the State of Baja California, and advocate for the rights of the Deaf community, with over a decade of experience working closely with the Deaf community in Ensenada across various sectors. A graduate in Translation from the Autonomous University of Baja California, he has established himself as one of the few Certified Court Interpreters of Mexican Sign Language in Baja California and throughout Mexico, providing interpreting services for government authorities and private individuals.

In addition to his specialization in interpretation, he has an outstanding track record in the translation of legal documents, including contracts, vital statistics documents, and other legal documents, combining his linguistic expertise with a deep understanding of cultural and legal nuances. He is the co-founder of the Californian non-profit organization Word Became Flesh Global, dedicated to the empowerment of the Deaf community.

Currently, Lucas is a professor at the School of Languages at the Autonomous University of Baja California. His professional approach is based on linguistic precision, respect for cultural diversity, and inclusive access to communication.
Octavio Quezada

Professional translator with experience in the translation of legal, academic, scientific, and literary documents. His deep interest in reading and writing, especially in poetry and literary texts, has enriched his ability to translate, capture, and convey cultural and emotional nuances in every project. A graduate in Translation from the Autonomous University of Baja California, he has distinguished himself as a Certified Court Translator authorized by the Judiciary Council of the State of Baja California, where he has worked on the official translation of legal documents, including contracts, vital statistics documents, among others.

Throughout his career, he has combined his passion for linguistic precision with his academic background, honing his skills as a translator and proofreader. Currently, Octavio resides in Mexico's most important wine region, which has allowed him to explore the specialized language of the wine world, adding an additional dimension to his diverse professional journey.
